I've got a 70" Vizio P series TV and a Denon Amp connected via HDMI to the new Apple TV gen 4. The aTV will turn on the TV and Amp when I wake it up and it turns the amp off when it goes to sleep, but it leaves the TV turned ON. Other CEC functions work like volume control and input selection, just the power off for the TV doesn't.
