Auto gearbox problem. Hi I have a 2011 ceed 3 1.6 crdi automatic, last week it developed a problem it seems to be stuck in one gear seems like 2nd or 3rd. Management light is on and it's shows a gearbox solonoid. Postoji probleme sa efektom treptanja prednjih farova. Problem je češći kod AUTO podešavanja farova. Problem može biti kratak spoj. Problem sa gubitkom snage motora, aktiviran je sigurnosni režim rada. Problem se odnosi na dizel 1.6 CRDi, a sito u rezervoaru je odgovoran, koji se u proseku začepljuje svakih 30-40 000 km.
I have a Ceed SW Estate 3 Automatic. At about 40,000 miles a problem suddenly occured with the automatic gearbox. It was as if the drive would not disengage causing a stall. Apparently the flywheel was the problem & it was replaced under warranty. At about 45,000 miles, after a long journey there was a loud knocking noise coming from the engine

RichardB. 597 posts · Joined 2011. #2 · Nov 15, 2018 (Edited by Moderator) Sounds similar to my 2009 C'eed when the gearbox oil is cold getting into 1st and the change to 2nd is always hard to get into as it needs to be below 2000 rpm and slower than normal shift. Once you have driven a mile or two the gearbox works fine.

The maximum top speed is 205 km/h for the 2.0 diesel 140 hp version (Kia Cee'd 2.0 CRDi) and the 2.0 petrol 143 hp version (Kia Cee'd 2.0). Lenght of Kia Ceed is 426 cm, it is medium size car. For comparison - Kia Ceed is about 6 cm longer than Volkswagen Golf hatchback, but 4 cm shorter than Honda Civic hatchback.

As I drive a petrol Venga, I have no starting problems (tempting fate, again!). Fleet: Skoda Octavia Estate, 2022 Kia Ceed 2. Save.
If you have a high annual mileage, then it's worth looking closely at the diesels. On paper, the 89bhp 1.4-litre CRDi seems attractive thanks to its 67.3mpg fuel economy and 109g/km CO2 emissions.
